I have heard back from JZ earlier in the week, he advises they have intentionally scaled back the the pilot plant throughput with Mitsubishi’s blessing with a focus on cash flow preservation in a soft market. Further more the the 100 tonnes was a token gesture and effectively this volume is immaterial to Mitsubishi (which is common sense IMO) and that the main piece is the stage 2 announcement which is the key priority to commercialisation.
I guess at the end of the day Mitsubishi have to convert or sell and if their customers aren’t screaming demand yet, then this won’t flow through to Argosy...
I suspect more at play, but it was a fair answer.
