Its just like I said Troyus- the World still has a deflationary issue to contend with rather than an inflationary one, which means the USD POG will fall.

The big question is whether the Australian dollar will fall to a greater extent than the USD POG, which means an investment in physical gold may be preferrable to gold equities, which will be sold off in a broad stock market correction? However, if one was going to adopt this strategy (make money on the currency movement), it would be easier just to buy USD- effectively shorting the AUD.
