$17m to $71m cash/bullion in a single quarter is very impressive! Debt free and unhedged, is the potential of this company finally being realised at last?
OK, the exercise of options brought in $30m but this was balanced by $30m outflows to pay back debt, including the last of the Senior Debt facility and final interest payment to convertible note holders.
I listened to this morning's broadcast. They're now in the main sulphide ore body, so we can expect 3 g/t head grade from now on. Sullivan said nameplate 2.4 mtpa throughput could be achieved soon, ramped up next two quarters (from 1.9 mtpa rate in the Dec qtr). Recoveries expected to improve from 82% to 86/87%.
If my sums are correct we could be seeing quarterly production at Syama of 50,000oz soon, which would see us reach FY12 production guidance of 410,000oz
