Awoonga, Glencore is most likely too busy integrating Xstrata to worry about much else. As long as they don't have to make any decisions or stump up any cash, they'll focus on the stuff which is important to them and let everything else keep ticking on imo. It will be interesting if they take a more active interest post-integration but that's not going to be for a while.
