Graham your right. It reminded me of a friend of ours who married an east timorease guy. They owned some property there but hadnt been back for a few years as they were living in australia. Someone had built a home on part of their property, and when they asked them to leave was refusing. They tried to follow legal channels but kept hitting all kinds of legal hurdles and problems. In the end they came to an agreement with the elderly lady, pretty much said that she could stay there till she died but couldnt allow her family to move in. (Not sure if any of this is relevant to QPN, but land agreements are certainly more complicated a process then here in aus, and something you want to get right before you hit pay dirt)
