On a more serious note, Goldfish, we should not get too excited about his connections although I would be delighted if he could contrive to exploit them for the benefit of the Company.
However, IBG has less cash than we have. It has spent (their latest presentation) $50m on its project in Greenland (northern extreme) and it's looking to spend 10x its market capitalisation on a mine. Glencore will provide some money and a mining licence application is almost ready for submission.
Regardless of JD's abilities, I think that he may be a tad busy just now. Building a mine in Namibia would be a walk in the park compared to what IBG is proposing to do. Still, the days are long in Greenland during summer, whilst it lasts.
Nevertheless, he has connections with the Chinese and SBR would be able to make deliveries all the year round.
On a more serious note, Goldfish, we should not get too excited...
