as for the 12 km haul. You are correct.
for that I would have to do the math. Maybe double handle from a convenient location with equipment that we already have.
on the other hand scampers cruise at 50km /hour so 12km is achievable but not preferable option.
i am sure I would come up with cost effective solution.
as for scrapers I general, since we are talking alluvial mining, it is the best option to move lots of soils very quickly as we are talking about the top layers not the kimberlite it self.
