Ok I will bite,
FMG and all IO miners mine a product that is now worth about US $80 a tonne.
All this mining is done in areas with comparatively small overburden or waste removal and on a huge scale.
None of them are flying high ATM with these prices see Vale for example.
Now if you take C's (the experts) figures you arrive at a figure around $40 a tonne for LOM.
Now this is ONLY for that small layer (av 40 cm by LOMs own figures) , all the overburden (now look at the nice pictures in last ann) is worthless.
How can you even compare the two?
Name ONE mine that can mine a product worth so little with so much overburden in such a remote area.
