I am not wishing for a sub 0.65 takeover.
I was putting on the hat of the CEO of SEMAFO and asking what I would do.
I would look to soak up all I could on market at sub 0.65 prices.
I am unsure of the ASX rules governing the withdrawal of a formal cash offer and
entering the open market to acquire as big a stake possible under 0.65 before .
I am not sure how firm the top 10 will be.
I assume DGR and Tenstar would hold out but the 2 recent arrivals of Goodman and Bank of Nova Scotia who are Canadian based may have more loyalty to SEMAFO. It appears their average price is well under 0.65.
I've been following the BF politics each day and I believe the army will hand over to a civilian group within the time frame suggested by the African Congress, France, UN etc.
