Been out of action most of today; just catching up. Looks like I am late to a gunfight!
Looking forward to a thorough read of the quarterly, but based on your summaries everything looks to be in order - no surprises.
Possibly missed in the hurly burly today was the fact that COP has retained Senegal as a 2015 project despite slashing another $2 billion from its budget. I recall Malcysblog post SNE discovery saying that COP had their best people crawling all over it. Well they obviously like what they see, notwithstanding the analysis is yet to materialise. If COP's commitment is not a massive vote of confidence in commerciality, I don't know what is.
With apologies to you oilers for my ignorance, but I have been meaning to ask this for ages: Given FAN did not hit the OWC, why didn't they just keep drilling until they did? (I suspect some of you are now rolling on the floor laughing.) Thanks in advance.
