Been doing some reading up over the weekend:

On predictions regarding the near term marine energy market.  There is a  research article from July 2014 by the Transparency Market Research organization.  The market report is titled "Wave and Tidal Energy Market - Global Industry Analysis, Size, Share, Growth, Trends and Forecast 2014-2020.  According to the report, the wave and tidal energy market was valued at USD 25 million in 2013 and is anticipated to reach USD 10.1 billion in 2020, expanding at a CAGR of 64.1% from 2014 to 2020.

I have also had a closer look at SMVG who have been engaged by SHE to develop the Protean WEC project in the USA.  From what I can gather they are considered a very credible group by the US Government.  SMVG have some high profile government backed commissions including one with a group called Electricore.  From the SMVG website Electricore is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization established in 1993 at the request of the US Department of Defence, Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to develop advanced technology.  Since 1993, Electricore has developed and managed many multi-partnered research programs, producing breakthroughs in the field of Energy, Transportation and Electronics.

On the Offshore Wind.Biz website 8 April 2015, SMVG are quoted on the Protean technology:

"..........SMVG is excited to be joining forces with Stonehenge so that we can help drive the US commercialisation program for the Protean WEC. We believe that the Protean WEC technology is truly unique in the world of wave energy conversion and that it has the potential to deliver real solutions for many of the problems currently being faced by other wave energy conversion companies,” said Eric C. Miller, Vice President, Finance, SMVG.

Long term SHE investors will IMO be handsomely rewarded with their SHE investment.
