I sat through the Noosa presentation and was shocked.
Beat-up about vague potential of barely understood acreage. No plans for exploration or exploitation announced, no advice on partnerships or relationships with Governments. All delivered in a bored and indifferent monologue. Far and away the worst presentation of the whole Conference.
I left with the impression that AJQ see themselves as squatters who will stay in place doing nothing until someone pays them to go away; or does their work for them.
The difference to their vibrant and newsy presentation of two years ago was stark. I got the feeling that they now find the whole exercise of creating an O&G company is simply too boring to justify expenditure of corporate energy.
The Quarterly is the same - propaganda, but absolutely no information provided to the unworthy shareholders.
I can feel a 'stinker' letter coming on.
