It's all about Mutharika implementing the M&M bill. Damn thing was supposed to be tabled and passed through mid last year and I was very hopeful of some very positive news flow from GBE there after.
It's all been delayed for that reason. Until companies have clarity and favorable terms and conditions to their respective mining licenses every resource remains in the ground.
Often wonder if only the other party - fella won that Malawi election where GBE would be today.
Anyway we wait for Mutharika to pass the bill or for him to lose the next election. Was very positive to hear the FOI bill passed recently which is closely connected to mining amongst numerous other things.
