Cash is cash received in the 3 quarters (which was $242,000) while EBITDA of $730000 allows among other things for invoices lodged but not received.
There were $2.74 million invoices at end March not yet paid compared with $1.92 million at 30 June 2016. Hence EBITDA is the better guide to how the business is travelling, which is well. Of course that needs to show up in actual cash (with a lag) rather than as (for example) bad debts. The other guide is net receivables which have risen from $1.1 million at 30 June to $1.45 million at end March.
They have cash and net receivables at end March of $2.77 million, while at 30 June 2016 they totalled $2.18 million. They have plenty of cash given the market cap is only $4.5 million!!
Hope this helps.
