This must have sailed past your analysis. Glencore have already made public they will divest upstream zinc mining and influence the industry downstream.
The fact that they have triggered anti trust should highlight their influence. Or try sitting next to a Glencore executive. When you talk about their zinc influence, one side of their mouth lifts and you get a semi smile semi smirk.
They are determined to get a higher zinc price. And for some reason, people panic that supply is coming from ALL over including planet Mars.
