There is no ex_China competition.
Dozens tried during the RE bubble and only Lynas made it. Moly and GW came close but were defeated by the tech challenges.
I think Aru and Alk are good projects but just don't see their relevance medium-term.
Lynas and China are perfectly capable of supplying global needs for the next decade IMO ramping up capacity as required.
The barriers to newcomers are huge: technical, financing, engagement with customers, product specs and the rest.
