I dialed in too - not for the first time- and continue to be impressed by the approach of AL and her team: promise only what you can deliver and play a long game.
The "long game" involves a number of initiatives under the "NEXT" banner that blur the positive messages in terms of the short term figures. They include paying down debt, upgrading aspects of the LAMP, getting a better "big picture" of the scale and nature of out huge Mt Weld resource. Also build long term customer relationships and expand the range, quantity, quality and consistency of product.
12 months from now NEXT will be complete. The big question is then "What's the next NEXT"??
I'm tipping a major expansion of operations funded mostly from FCF.
