Now, let's not get confused about "getting smashed post studies". There is a big difference between PFS/DFS/BFS and SS. It is very common for exploration companies to get smashed after releasing PFS/DFS/BFS, but rarely after release of SS.
The SS is all about the potential of the resource, without going into too much detail about the actual costs. As a result, the SS will have a more positive tone (provided the resource is good, of course!), and consequently a positive effect on the SP.

Not so with the other 3 studies. That's when details about costs, CAPEX, etc., come into play. These other studies will always have a negative effect on the SP, simply because they talk about spending money in those studies.... and I have learned from experience, no one in the share market wants to hear about spending money!
