You can't honestly believe the UG will not be a success. I've looked over plenty of orebody's in my time and this one is a slam dunk. The unfortunate thing is they have not necessarily stuck to their schedule, but there are always teething issues, with any major development or should I say redevelopment (open cut to UG). Grade is not going to be an issue and whilst the reported reserve grade is 2.7g/t, I believe the early ounces will be above 3g/t as evidenced by the infill drilling results carried out and reported in 2015/16.
Additionally, we know from the historical recoveries that the higher grade open cut ore prior to 2015 recovered at +80%. With the latest improvements lets hope for better than that.
Either way, Syama (the prize) and Tabakoroni ,which is just cream on a pretty nice cake, means that within 12 months this beast will be spew out plenty of gold at very nice margins.
