This paragraph at the end of the report stands out as the highest risk factor for me: "In the past few months there has been an increase in the activities of Sahel-based Islamic militant and armed groups in easternand northern Burkina Faso. There have not been any reported incidents in the Gnagna Province where the Company’s flagshipproject, Kouri, is located and the Company’s operations have not been affected by such activities. The Company has wellestablished security protocols and continues to monitor the situation, as any additional information comes to hand."
Last week a Canadian geologist was killed in northern Burkina Faso and the president also resigned, presumably over these security issues. Does anyone have any particular insights into how contained (or not) these security risks are?
