For clarity, my take is VH is saying the increase in gold price saved gold from itself... if not for the increase in price the WGP would have been a loss maker due to lower than expected/unpredictable grams/tonne, and thin beds of mineralisation meaning heaps of excavation for not much gold.Regardless, i agree with sentiment on Cassini.
