What they're proposing at Taronga is to prepare a mine, then to dig the ore out and bring it to pre-concentrate level. That is what they've been trying to do at Granville East mine off and on for the last 8 months, and that is enlarging an already existing mine with basic infrastructure already established.
Taronga has to start from scratch.
The smart money, wouldn't be caring about Lind, the smart money would be waiting to see if ANW can mine ore, treat it, process it and sell it creating permanent cashflow. Until they have proven they can do that at Granville there is no point buying in or contemplating Taronga.
Can they have that established by the end of this quarter [2 more months] and prove themselves ?
It remains to be seen.
That is the way I see it after yesterdays let down with no revealing facts. The drilling results effect on the share price will be interesting but that is probably different money to what would be keeping an eye on ANW's tin.
