Just a little note folks. There has been a lot of talk of a copper shortage coming down the road. Stocks in all global exchanges are depleted quite heavily. The trade battle between US and China has been a negative factor. Consumption has been greater than production for about 2 years now. The predicted rise in electric cars will require a lot of copper for the electric motors. Will this occur? Will see.
China has put restrictions on scrap imports for recycling. Waste disposal problems.
No real traction yet, because of dispute, but if something gets sorted out copper prices may rise to substantially higher levels. If warehouse stocks are exhausted, ditto perhaps.
Just a little thing to put in the old thinking cap.
