And with that update I'd be even more worried. 2MMscf/day means nothing as an initial rate when you're just opening the well, anyone can do that with a 2km long pressurised gas cylinder. Obviously the reservoir isn't giving anything there as it seems to have just been killed by water production.

The performance of 4A is well below economic flow rates too, and it looks like expensive recompletion or intervention activities are required to even attempt to get that going.

I wish them all the best but it's looking like there's a good reason why Origin gave up on Kincora... I'd be looking at other targets, especially in the NT with other explorers up there later this year. Hopefully there's something big on the horizon with the amount of acerage and quality management team.
