you need some common sense, and perhaps stop and think if you are the stupid one before doubling down. More than a ton of gold on a satellite??? They would, literally, have to be solid gold.... As much gold in space as in US treasury vaults? FFS
I read the link you sent. Its poorly written and youve completely misunderstood it. They liken the cost per kg of launching something into space to the price for kg of gold.
On a satellite will be some gold plated electronics and some leaf insulation. I.e f* all weight.
