I think if everything was hunky dory- gold would fall aggressively, however their are many factors which are supporting gold prices:
US/Iranian relations not great.
US/North Korea- volatile
Middle East unstable
Global economic growth ????
Global debt- is ridiculous
QE and interest rates dropping to support global debt levels are very likely.
Likelihood of trade deals experiencing delays/hiccups.
I think if everything was hunky dory- gold would fall...
