I have discussed this with my industry super fund (Australian Super) that holds my shares. In this instance, if TGS is delisted, I lose the lot.
The fund is not able (under their legal operating frameworks - I am sure it is in the fine print somewhere??..) to transfer my shares out of the fund to me as an individual so that I can sit on them indefinately (waiting for an eventual hopeful re-list), and will not hold ASX delisted shares.
For such individuals, our investment is written off to zero. Presumably, we get a capital loss credited to our account (I hope!).
Someone else may be able to clarify this further. Anyone in this situation needs to follow up with their fund themselves, and not rely on an anonymous poster's communications. Possibly not all funds operate under the same guidelines.
