It's mineral exploration. It costs a lot of money and the odds of an economic success are low. Everybody knows that.

But that is no reason to go wiping the brown stuff down the backs of the honest, capable, diligent and professionally highly-regarded people who are conducting it on your behalf. And to do it from behind the imagined safety of a forum nickname is rather low, and actually more hazardous than some might imagine.

And it also flies in the face of the excellent results and progress in Uganda and the sustained financial and technical recognition that these results have attracted from Rio Tinto in London. I just hope Rio are not too concerned to be losing the MD who's management and skills they have been backing here.
