After almost four decades of dos Santos rule it’s going to take the new government some time and whole lot of reforms to get Angola moving in the right direction.
It will happen, one step at a time, and yes, trust must be earned.
LOM is certainly playing an active role in attracting new investments in Angola, and I’m sure SW has become somewhat of an advisor to ENDIAMA. He’s very knowledgeable in every aspect of diamonds, and he’ll know how to get the best deal for stakeholders.
More recently we’ve seen him mixing it with the president of Angola, João Lourenço, and we’ve seen him participating in promotional videos like this one.
He’s certainly doing a lot of work in the background and I’m confident he’ll bring home the bacon.
