In regards to the ann, I was sceptical of 20.9GWh figure, so I emailed AVL to check it wasn't a typo and received the below response.

Thank you for your email. Yes, VSUN Energy's current pipeline is 20.9GWh with projects of varying sizes including some very small ones and some very large. They are all at various stages, with some of the larger ones having up to several years lead times.
It's hard to say when a project will be signed off until it actually is. We remain optimistic and continue to push each project forward.

Considering the Dalien battery in China will be 800MWh, and that would use almost all of AVL's yearly production, a pipeline of this magnitude is impressive - although the sceptics can rightly point out that none of it is confirmed. But the fact they are claiming to have this amount of interest in redox flow batteries bodes well for the future - especially considering how closely they are positioning themselves to this disruptive industry.

I'm of the mind that until flow batteries take off, we won't see a new Vanadium mine (us or anyone else). For me, it's all about the batteries, still a way to go but it's looking not too bad.

There are plenty of proposals for grid scale batteries in Australia, I would like to see someone , anyone build a large VRFB . With the price of V2O5 @ us$6.50/lb is there a better time?
