Hi Everyone I'm pretty new to gold investing having added SLR, QAU and now SAR to my portfolio over the last month.
Is my high-level FY21 profit calculation ball park?
FY21 production 600,000 ounces x ($2280 - AISC $1152) average $1188 profit per ounce = $678,800,000
If gold did breakout over $2000 there is obviously considerable upside making the current market cap still look pretty cheap.
Having been a frustrated onlooker on the sidelines over the last few months waiting for a market dip that never comes, quality mid cap gold miners seem to present the best risk/reward case atm for those bullish on gold.
Happy to be on board and might look to add to my position if there is another substantial market dip (concious in the market crash earlier in the year gold dropped in line with the general equity market).
Happy Friday all!
