They're pursuing eradication and are pretty close.
They have been largely successful mostly due to acting early and decisively with a pretty harsh lockdown and travel restrictions. They had the additional benefits of a centralised government of a single, (multi)island jurisdiction meaning there was pretty uniform application of the restrictions, natural borders and a relatively low population density.
