I have found another reference, to a study done in 1973 on the Age of the deposits:
"Geochemical characteristics of Cretaceous carbonatites from Angola" A. ALBERTI, 1999
Three samples from Longonjo showing reasonably high levels Nd (717, 2450, 413 ppm )
and one sample from Coola with tree times the highest LJ value ! Nd 6907 ppm, it also had the HREE Dy 343 ppm
These samples were not picked for their REE potential but for isotope analysis to determine Age, however they do show Coola does have the potential to equal Longonjo.
Another observation from the best of those three LJ sample was that it contained one of the most costly RE's of them all, Terbium Tb (US$720+/kg) grading at 32ppm; if we recovered just 50% of the Tb from a 1.5Mtpa operation it would be worth US$18Mpa, And we now know LJ's average grades are certainly a lot higher than that 1973 sample !
