AUC has a much lower CAPEX and OPEX profile. Kattaning Gold Project is about 200kms from Perth in an area that is well serviced by infrastructure, close to all technical services and workforce. So no need to build airstrip to fly workers or build housing for workers.

The ore is easy / low cost to process. A very significant volume of gold is free milling so can be extracted via gravity separation, reducing cost to leach remaining gold.

DEG resources are isolated, requiring establishment of all infrastructure and services at great cost. Has refractory style ore that is expensive to process.
