Thanks a lot for the links!
What do we know about the product Bass is able to produce? In the presentations I read that it is 'premium' quality:
- Over 96% fixed Carbon grade achieved
- Almost free from impurities
- Never penalized
- Improved quality and output over the quarters
But we also know that with only 4-6% of graphite in the ground it wasn't enough to be profitable.
This seems to me that two things need to happen. Either Graphite prices move higher and/or they go down streams with value added products. And probably there is a third option if bass manages to scale up production to keep costs per ton low. However, that alone I guess will not really be enough unless graphite prices skyrock.
Therefore, what difference do we see between the graphite of Syrah and the graphite of Bass Metals?
Can Bass Metals (or does Bass Metals already) supply the graphite into batteries? Is it good enough - but just too expensive? Or is it simply not good enough to find its ways into batteries?
