I think it's just typical of average ASX traders to cash out early following overnight markets, even though our market opens first? It's like people get scared and start chasing their own tail. This then triggers stop losses.

As I always say, congrats to anyone who profits and good luck to those you hold long term (including myself). I've always felt like it's more cost-effective to let things sit so when it truly spikes after a year, the CGT discount >> any day trading gains with minimal effort, assuming you have faith in a stock/company long term.
