I think that you are right
The Funds which shorted Gamestock etc. and were burnt have apparently had to panic sell tech shares like Apple that they were long on to get cash to cover losses- those sales drove SPs down leading the Dow down so badly.
The OTC closing price of NVNXF is equivalent to the Friday closing price of NVX so hopefully NVX stabilizes on Monday.
