A good read and whilst I still would have liked to have more regular updates on the progress, its all there to see (great pictures).
On time and on budget is also pleasing (though I do hope they are able to stay just under budget, the more wiggle room the better).
They are likely going to pour first gold early June.
ROM pad is now starting to get filled, with 200k ready to be loaded. I would like to see at least 6-8 weeks of ore on the ROM, so, around 400-500t.
That is the sort of buffer you need when starting up such a large plant.
Nice to see they have hired a new exploration
CMM is being careful with their funding allocations, as the drilling will ramp up later in the year, post gold pour.
It's going to be really interesting to see how CMM goes with rampup and reaching commercial production. The past few years have seen some disappointing outcomes (but some good ones too). I feel fairly confident that CMM have the right people to see this succeed without major hiccups.
