I agree, although I do believe that some of the more advanced Ni-Co laterites will eventually get funding to build the mine...Even though cobalt has been a 'dirty' word for the last 2+ years, it will be in deficit within 2 years...DRC cobalt isn't nearly enough...While China will continue to use LFP batteries for short trips in their big polluted cities, NCM 811 batteries will be the mainstay of Euro/US car manufacturers and that means cobalt for the foreseeable future...
