Modi actually encouraged people to have mass gatherings. It's a colossal failure of leadership and hubris.

With the emergence of super strains, testing is even more critical. These strains are highly contagious and more lethal.
This and it makes border control even more crucial because quarantine will get breached more easily.

Rapid testing critical for the revival of the airline industry. Also for healthy functioning of offices, hospitals themselves etc.
