I was thinking about pitching it to the Millners. Would be highly value accretive and most efficient to liberate franking credits as you say.
Problem is Soul Patts don't want to increase their shareholding and wouldn't want to tender shares are these price levels.
My thesis is Soul Patts sold their 5% to obviate the need to consolidate nhc for accounting purposes. Probably getting a lot of ESG stick from their own investors.
