No matter which way you slice it and dice it Aurelia's management and performance has let down investors and disappointed the market once again. Share prices don't drop 15% in a day on good results and good guidance or even OK results and OK guidance.
I've followed this stock for a while and have a very small position and it's a rinse and repeat situation almost every quarter. Lead up to results suggests finally things are coming together with higher grade ore expected to make a positive impact on results and costs getting under control. However when the results finally come they almost always disappoint, under delivering on revenue outcomes and providing guidance that totally underwhelms the market. This stock always reminds me why good management is just as important as good resources. They have poor management that bumble their way through mining good resources. Under a better management team this could have been a great business IMO.
A mining stock that never fails to disappoint is the best way I can summarise Aurelia.
