WOW talking about one man”s trash is another man’s treasure.
they have produced approximately 20,000 tonnes of kaolin for over 20 years and say waste to product has been around 50% ( I am making this up as I go along) that would be around 400,000 tonnes of waste which I assume is mainly silica sand at say $40 per tonne, they might have found approximately $16 million gross and after costs say $15 million.I realise these numbers are extremely rough and possibly out by hundreds of percent but even so they might have just found a quick easy $5 million plus to chuck in the kitty. Not bad from a waste product lying around. These guys are so lucky, but in my experience the harder you work the luckier you become. I am very happy that these guys are such hard workers and therefore SO lucky.
