As a general rule I agree we should not cross recommend; the T&Cs discourage it. However, commenting on trends across the same sector, I believe, is fair enough. Saying something such as 'Every share in the U sector has gone the same way' is more often than not inaccurate. And on Friday such a statement would have been inaccurate. Assertions without a source are really just an opinion.
This forum is pretty good in that while we may have differing opinions on company values, I can't remember an occasion where a poster expressed such.
