I think Recast is instant monetization. I had a quick look at recast. IMO; Every video content uploaded or broadcast live is monetize via cast credits.
The major difference between Recast & other major video platform is that all content rights holders can monetize their content videos immediately. Viewers must use cast credits (in-app currency) to watch any video content on the platform.
To earn cast credits user has the option to watch ads, share or purchase them.
If you compare with other major video platforms they're monetize if user watches the ads while viewing the content. In many cases many skips the ads. Hence, many video content creators are unable to monetize their work despite large number of views. While recast makes certainty that content owners gets paid from the very first view.
