The run it had from 3c to 7.8c back in February was purely speculation along with many other gas stocks at that time.
Since then there has been progress with purchase and analysis of seismic data.
Can only speculate that recent buying is because gas prices are going up and demand is outstripping supply.
Any positive announcement on agreements or a way forward towards production will put a big rocket under this stock.
