Agreed, the local food program with the farmers is a genuinely smart solution. When the mines are gone the farmers will still have the skills and knowledges for growing food. that is a genuine positive, lasting, impact.
With the company starting to stand on its own feet I feel a commitment to dedicate some (e.g 0.5%) of the SML loan / dividend money to the community may help expedite the payment to LOM. That way, when LOM wins, the local community wins.
Only negative is the slow kimberlite progress and the discussion on LOM's ownership % (which i see no mention of).
