I am not providing any financial advice but the practical side for me would be if the shares go up to 12c prior consolidation i would probably bail and come back subject to share price later. At $1.20 share without and income coming into the company for me would be an elevated risk and i am still not made any money for a 4 year investment. consolidation at 10 times reduction will reduce the ability for me to make any meaningful IRR. I have another nickel company that went through a 17 times consolidation reducing 1.6 million shares down to approx. 97k with the result a broker firm suddenly pops up after consolidation with the company issuing 25% of the company book in shares. Company board ok more performance shares issued but with the existing shareholders feeling would the f!!!!
The shares have increased by 500% but this is only 97K shares not the 1.6m base. So I wanted to say is that the higher the share price to start with the less buyers are willing to risk they cash
I have shares in lake resources and they have not completed any consolidation that i am aware off even though the issue has been raised recently due to brokers again. Share price 4c to last i checked 85c
So in my opinion i am not a fan of consolidation with it reducing my ability for a reasonable IRR an elevated profile due to higher base share price with an asset that may not be producing any income at the time
