The company were forthcoming when they disclosed the expected softer quarter, but despite all of the negative production items I've highlighted above, and the major spending to support future initiatives which should pay dividends going forward, I can't see - major issues aside - how the company could not do better.
There have been 3 consecutive quarters of disappointment, turbulence and disruption.
I believe from here on out it should be business as usual for a mid tier miner who is going back to basics, hitting targets and continuing low risk incremental improvements.
I'm the first to admit that I'm no expert, but I hope that my research is considered and balanced.
I welcome you and everyone to offer corrections, suggestions or identification of things I've omitted.
Obviously I've intentionally excluded McPs as that will not add anything to the production numbers for the next few years, which is the focus of these posts.
