I hope to see nothing above stage 2 tbh. That is a HUGE project.
10 years is about all you can honestly forecast for lithium demand looking at battery technology advances.
I ignore all the bullish projections past that as just noise. Maybe they'll come true, maybe not. Wouldn't be more than a 50% chance IMO.
Anything above stage 2 is too much capital thrown at something that could potentially be over real quick without providing the time for good returns on investment. As it is I see a very robust lithium demand until 2030 that will see our project make big returns. Anything beyond is a bonus.
Interesting to see the years of talk of downstream dreaming at PLS ended up with only an 18% stake rising to 30% in their POSCO JV. We can do without it given our price is linked to downstream product.
Bring on the quick dividends once we are up and running - then we'll see full value for our shares.
